Tone Capture of the super organic Xotic Effects BB Preamp going into the preamp of a Fender Dual Showman Reverb. The BB Preamp is all you've ever wanted, from an overdrive pedal. With uncompromised distortion that retains your guitar's tone, the pedal is know for its ultra-transparency, making it ideal both for an overdrive pedal going into a preamp and as a stand-alone preamp connected to a power amp.
By utilizing a pre-gain stage BB Preamp can go from a very pristine clean to a very smooth, compressed, overdriven sound. Its capability of a 30dB clean boost with an adjustable 15dB two band active EQ which adds a wide range of harmonic content to your ideal sound has made it widely know both as a Boost pedal and a low-gain Overdrive pedal.
This preset is best used with a power amp (or the FX Loop of an amp) and a cabinet. If you don't intend to use a cabinet please turn on cab sim and either select one of the stock cab sims or use one of the included matched cabinet IRs. This tone capture comes with a Fender Blackface Bandmaster 2x12 IR with two more tube variations!
