World renowned guitarist Peter Thorn, is not only known for his touring/session work with legendary artists such as, Chris Cornell and Melissa Etheridge, but he is also considered by the guitarist community to be one of the foremost authorities on tone. After five years of extensive road testing and countless hours spent modifying his original PT100 amplifier, the new PT-100 Pete Thorn signature is the ultimate, no compromise, multi-channel amp.
The Suhr PT100 features three distinct channels offering unmatched versatility:
Channel 1: The green channel is an American-voiced clean with bottom end punch and seemingly limitless headroom. It responds well to pedals and has a Crunch mode that can be enabled which pushes this channel into medium gain, overdrive territory.
Channel 2/3: The Blue/Red channel is the ultimate high gain, modded British tone, that only Suhr can deliver. Its heritage is from the legendary high gain circuit of the Custom Audio Amplifiers. The gain is thick and juicy, with rich harmonic overtones and limitless sustain.
This preset can be used either with a Power Amp (or the FX Loop of an Amp) and a Cabinet or straight to an Audio Interface, PA Speakers or FRFR. If you intend to use a Power Amp and Cabinet, please turn OFF the pedal's CAB SIM. Includes both STUDIO and LIVE NVA Matching Cabinet Impulse Responses.
ALL INCLUDED SOUND CLONES ARE DI SOUND CLONES, meaning that you can either use them with your Ampero II and a power amp/cabinet or select any Stock Cab/IR of your choice when connected to FRFR/PA Speakers or Audio Interface. Comes with a Suhr PT-100 4x12 IR and a Suhr 2x12 Warehouse IR!
