The NVA Marshalls Helix Amp Pack includes a total of 11 presets from different Marshall Amps/Channels, with matching cabinet IRs for each preset going from ultra clean to edge of breakup and from smooth crunch to roaring distortion, providing lead and solo snapshots as well!

Designed to get the best out of your Helix (and Helix Native / HX Stomp), the Helix Amp Packs optimize the unit's Amp Sims with matching cabinet Custom IRs and provide different gain stages for each Preset while giving a natural tone and feel to the user. Snapshots are used to provide different gain stages of the same amp (e.g. clean, crunch, overdrive) and sometimes with the use of OD pedals as well as adding extra effects (modulation, delay, reverb etc).

All Amp Packs have 8 snapshots. The first 4 snapshots are different gain stages while the rest are adding effects. For HX Stomp & HX Stomp XL users, a maximum of 3 and 4 snapshots, respectively, are available.

The Helix Amp Packs include both “LIVE” and “STUDIO” Impulse Responses suitable for different situations:

LIVE IRs are more suitable for live gigs, rehearsals or loud volume in general. They are designed to give a great "amp in the room" feel and will behave like a tube amp (thin at lower volumes but full and round at higher volumes).

STUDIO IRs are more suitable for recording or playing at bedroom level through nearfield speakers or headphones. They are designed to give a balanced tone that also cuts through the mix. They already have Low/High cut filters applied on them so that they are plug n' play.

This preset is best used when connected to a PA console, audio interface or FRFR speaker as it has cab sim (IR) enabled. It can also be used with a power amp and a cabinet by turning off the IR block(s) and selecting the included "preamp presets".

Includes an IR Guide and a Preset Guide to help both beginner and advanced Helix users to get quickly familiar with the Amp Packs both for "LIVE" or "STUDIO" use as well as tips on how to easily tweak them according to your needs.
