Capture of the Mesa Boogie Road King (version 1), the perfect road companion! Take the Mesa/Boogie Road King Series head on the road and you won't miss your other stage amps. Why? Because this incredible head gives you enough real tube-amp possibilities onboard that you won't need anything else! Equipped with both EL34 and 6L6 power tubes and Mesa's innovative Progressive Linkage technology, the Road King lets you dial in a different tube-amp configuration on each of its feature-packed four channels!

Imagine having five classic tube-amp power plants instantly accessible and packed into one amp head. Now imagine being able to apply any one of these configurations to each of four fully-featured channels, complete with rectifier switching capabilies, reverb, and several gain choices. Mesa's Progressive Linkage gives you just that! The Road King sports an impressive tube complement, including two EL34s and four 6L6 power tubes. It also houses no less than six 12AX7 preamp tubes and two 5U4 rectifier tubes. Each channel's Progressive Linkage functionality lets you combine 6L6s and EL34s, use them independently, or, in the case of the quartet of 6L6s, use the power of all four.

This preset can be used either with a Power Amp (or the FX Loop of an Amp) and a Cabinet or straight to an Audio Interface, PA Speakers or FRFR. If you intend to use a Power Amp and Cabinet, please turn OFF the pedal's CAB SIM. Includes both STUDIO and LIVE  NVA Matching Cabinet Impulse Responses. 

ALL INCLUDED CAPTURES ARE DI CAPTURES, meaning that you can either use them with your ToneX pedal and a power amp/cabinet or select any Stock Cab/IR of your choice when connected to FRFR/PA Speakers or Audio Interface (using either the ToneX pedal or the ToneX Plugin). Comes with a Mesa Boogie Road King 2x12 Combo IR and a Mesa Boogie Road King 4x12 Slant IR!
