Mark IV Amp Pack bundle preset for the HoTone Ampero II Stomp
Launched in 1990 as a three-channel amp, the Mesa Boogie Mark IV has independent controls for all three channels, except bass and mid, which are the same for both Rhythm 1 (clean) and Rhythm 2 (crunch). Three Big Sounds …with individual control and total conviction: Rhythm 1 feels bouncy and shimmers with freshness. The Lead Mode is blistering high-gain focus. And Rhythm 2 covers that elusive middle ground. This mode alone can produce an alternate Clean, a purring Blues or a grinding Crunch.
With their compact size, stunning power and ultimate versatility, the Mesa Boogie Mark IV has served legions of proud owners who see the Mark IV as the culmination of guitar amp evolution. There were two versions of this amp. Mark IVs built from the start of production until about September 1993 are referred to as version A; amplifiers made from late 1993 until the end of production in 2008 are known as version B and its voicings are altered slightly.
This preset is best used when connected to a PA console, audio interface or FRFR speaker as it has cab sim (IR) enabled. If you intend to use it with an amp and cabinet please disable the amp/cab block.
The Mark IV Amp Pack consists of 4 presets with dedicated LIVE and STUDIO Impulse Responses for each preset. In order to fully get the best out of the device's capabilities, ALL presets have extra functions. You can try them by turning ON effects that are OFF and also by engaging the EXP pedal.
