Electric with piezo | Line 6 Helix/Native

In this preset you will find a really useful plug and play sound for your electric guitar with piezo.

Plug your magnetics signal cable in “GUITAR IN” of your Helix, while your piezo signal cable must be plugged in “RETURN 1”.

Let the signal toggle switch on your guitar in middle position (both magnetics and piezo must be turned on), then you can decide which of the signal (only piezo, only magnetics, both piezo and magnetics) will go straight away to balanced and unbalanced Helix outputs.

What you will listen out of your Helix can be decided using the 4 Snapshots:

• CLEAN + PIEZO: Piezo signal + Magnetics clean sound with Chorus and Delay
• PIEZO: Only Piezo signal
• ELEC: Only Magnetics with Distortion engaged
• ELEC OD: Only Magnetics with Distortion engaged + Overdrive, Boost, Chorus and Delay (perfect for Solos)

I recommend to set your Helix in 4 Snapshots/4 Stomps mode, so you can choose between the 4 basic sounds and add the effects in the best way.

If you push MODE footswitch on your Helix you can have access to more effects in the chain and you can choose which one activate, and this setting will be temporarily stored for each snapshot.

This preset is best used when connected to a PA console, audio interface or FRFR speaker as it has cab sim (IR) enabled. If you intend to use it with an amp and cabinet please disable the amp/cab block.
