Tone Capture of the versatile Barber Tone Pump EQ going into the preamp of a Fender Dual Showman Reverb. The Barber Tone Pump with EQ is designed to be a dual overdrive for guitarists who need to stay gritty for rhythm work but want a second boost to hit solos. It is a basically a versatile, open sounding, high-end, 2 channel tube screamer. Burn unit is it's own beast, less open, affects your tone more dramatically, and is more of a "distortion" pedal than an overdrive/boost.
The Tone Pump EQ has a beautiful transparent presentation which allows it to take on the characteristics of your guitar and amp without changing their tonal balance. The Tone Pump's gain structure allows for plenty of flexibility by using two foot switches and separate volume and sustain (pump) controls for each channel. The new push/pull symmetry adds yet another dimension to the Tone Pump's legacy. Classic sounds for the tone connoisseur!
This preset is best used with a power amp (or the FX Loop of an amp) and a cabinet. If you don't intend to use a cabinet please turn on cab sim and either select one of the stock cab sims or use one of the included matched cabinet IRs. This tone capture comes with a Fender Blackface Bandmaster 2x12 IR with two more tube variations!
