Capture of the MOST POPULAR Overdrive pedal, the Ibanez TS808 Tube Screamer (produced in 1981) going into the preamp of a Fender Dual Showman Reverb and a Mesa Boogie Mark III. When it comes to the classic pedals of rock music, the Tubescreamer must be near the front of the queue. At the end of the 70s, the Ibanez Tube Screamer 808 appeared, an overdrive with truly tube-like characteristics, creating a sensation. The Tubescreamer is mild compared to many, but allows the true sound of the guitar and player's technique to come through. The most popular use of a tube screamer is to push a tube amp to make it overdrive more, but they sound good through almost anything.

Built with the iconic narrow box chassis, traditional three-knob interface, and legendary JRC4558D overdrive circuitry, the Ibanez TS808 Tube Screamer Original stands as one of the most iconic effects in the world of music gear. Part of the famed "0" series which gave the world some of the most coveted and copied pedals, the original TS808's searing, medium-gain push and organic tube-like breakup have been the most portable way to get a tube amp's sound anywhere. Made famous by artists ranging from Eddie Vedder to John Mayer to Stevie Ray Vaughan, this green steed is the crown jewel of any collection.

This preset can be used either with a Power Amp (or the FX Loop of an Amp) and a Cabinet or straight to an Audio Interface, PA Speakers or FRFR. If you intend to use a Power Amp and Cabinet, please turn OFF the pedal's CAB SIM. Includes both STUDIO and LIVE  NVA Matching Cabinet Impulse Responses. 

ALL INCLUDED CAPTURES ARE DI CAPTURES, meaning that you can either use them with your ToneX pedal and a power amp/cabinet or select any Stock Cab/IR of your choice when connected to FRFR/PA Speakers or Audio Interface (using either the ToneX pedal or the ToneX Plugin). Comes with a NVA Custom Alnico Cream IR and a NVA Custom V30 IR!
