The Custom Drive is built for different styles of hard rock or metal depending on how responsive your pickups are.
The default settings of the patch are generally for rhythm play
Ctrl switch 1 turns on the OD for added gain
Ctrl switch 2 turns on the EQ for a volume bump and filter out certain frequencies for solos
Ctrl switch 3 turns on longer delay
Ctrl switch 4 functions as a tapped tempo for the delay
Typical usage scenario: turn Ctrl 3 for added delays. Add Ctrl switch 1 for OD to switch to lead mode and finally add Ctrl switch 2 for a boosted lead solo
This preset works best when plugged straight into the interface, mixer or P.A. as amp and cab simulations are already applied on the signal chain. Disable the cab simulator if you are using an external cab via Send/Return.
